​We never knew that dog leashes could open on their own. In an instant our dog was unhooked and instantly escaped from his dog leash. It's the old design that if the D-ring is positioned at just the right angle it can cause the clip to open.

We always thought our pets were safe on a leash while training or even on an evening stroll. We tried so many leashes and learned that other dogs were getting unclipped from their leash more often than we thought. So, we set out to develop a high quality, dependable heavy duty dog leash that would be easy to use and less likely the dog would be able to escape.

We worked hard to design and engineer a new innovative leash for optimal pet safety and to endure constant use of rugged dog handling. Now, there is a safer option for pets with our trustworthy SafeLatch clip that makes it less likely your dog will escape.
