Position Magnet Close to the Steel D-Ring
Place the built-in magnet on the dog leash clip near the steel D-ring on pet's collar or harness. As the hook's magnet gets near the steel D-ring it will be pulled in and automatically lift for an easy connection. Please note magnet will not attract to an aluminum D-ring.

Easy Release
Slide Down the dog leash clip's thumb lever and turn the clip away from the steel D-ring to release the strong magnetic hold..
